Orange Scented Low-Carb Glaze
A delicious glaze perfect for donuts, cupcakes, pound cakes, and other sweet stuff. It is low-carb, dairy-free and sugar-free.
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut cream white creamy portion only
- 1 Tablespoon stevia/erythritol mix or date or maple sugar for Paleo diets
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- zest from one orange
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Heat on medium heat to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- When mixture reaches a simmer, turn heat to low.
- Stir constantly for five to seven minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Mixture will thicken as it cools.
- Pour over your favorite treat and enjoy!

I can’t seem to find the recipe for the Orange scented glaze. I plan on making the cardamom tea cakes I would love to have a glaze to go over them. Thank you!, Denise
Sorry about that, Denise! Somehow the recipe lost its home. I found the recipe, but haven’t been able to find the pre-recipe write-up. I used coconut cream from Trader Joes for this recipe. Another option to make a glaze for the tea cakes is our cream cheese frosting. You could make a small batch and apply it as frosting or thin it to make it more glaze-like.
